Dr. Kboudi began his education at the University of Texas at Austin, earning his undergraduate degree in 1994. He then attended the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio Dental School—nationally recognized as one of the top dental schools in the country—where he earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery. To further expand his skills, he completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry program at the same institution.
To this day, Dr. Kboudi remains committed to lifelong learning. He regularly participates in advanced continuing education programs led by some of the most respected dentists and innovators in the field. He is a proud member of the elite Seattle Study Club, one of the leading dental education organizations in the U.S., and is also actively involved with the American Dental Association and the Academy of General Dentistry.
As a teenager, Dr. Kboudi realized that dentistry offered the perfect blend of science, artistry, and meaningful human connection. He was drawn to the idea of improving lives through healthcare while also building a career that allowed for family time, entrepreneurship, and community involvement. Over the years, dentistry has given him the chance to do all of that—and more. From helping patients feel confident in their smiles to mentoring his team and giving back through volunteer work, he feels genuinely fulfilled by the positive impact he’s able to make every day.
When he’s not helping patients smile, Dr. Kboudi is all about family. He’s been happily married since 2001 and is the proud dad of three kids—two daughters and a son. He loves spending time with them, especially on beach vacations or just enjoying the outdoors. A lifelong sports fan, he’s passionate about basketball and stays active with various forms of exercise. He proudly roots for the San Antonio Spurs and Texas Longhorns—though his L.A. Dodgers loyalty runs just as deep!
Dr. Kboudi also has a soft spot for music and pop culture. He plays guitar, knows far too many 80’s movie quotes, and may or may not sing along to classic tunes while working on your teeth. His Seinfeld references are legendary.
Giving back to the community is another major part of his life. He’s supported organizations like the Battered Women and Children’s Shelter in San Antonio and is always eager to get involved in meaningful causes. If you know of a local charity or event that could use a helping hand, he’d love to hear about it.
